Bible Studies

As Women of Applewood, we believe that God's Word has the power to transform our
hearts, shape our lives, and strengthen our walk with Christ. Our Bible studies are more
than a time of learning—they are opportunities to grow in our understanding of
Scripture, build meaningful relationships, and encourage one another to live out the
truths we discover.

In 2027, we are embracing a fresh approach to studying God's Word together. Our
desire is to create an environment where women can spend meaningful time in
Scripture, explore biblical truths more deeply, and discover how God's Word speaks into
the circumstances of everyday life.

Going Deeper, Together

Throughout our Winter, Spring, and Fall sessions, we will offer two Bible study
opportunities:

Precept Bible Study – Our longstanding Precept study continues to provide an in-
depth, book-by-book examination of Scripture, with a new book of the Bible explored
each quarter.

Our Seasonal Bible Study – Women will be invited to journey together through a
thoughtfully selected biblical study, exploring a central theme or subject over an
extended period of time. Our Winter and Spring sessions will build upon one another,
allowing us to spend 16 weeks developing a deeper understanding of biblical truth and
its application to our lives. A new study will be offered during our eight-week Fall
session.

Each week, gifted Bible teachers will guide us through Scripture, followed by smaller
group discussions where women can ask questions, share insights, develop friendships,
and consider how to put God's Word into practice.

We believe that when women study the same biblical truths together, something special
happens. Conversations continue beyond the classroom, friendships grow stronger, and
we encourage one another to become not simply hearers of the Word, but doers of the
Word.

Continuing to Grow Throughout the Year

Summer Bible Studies offer opportunities for women to continue growing through
individual studies and smaller gatherings during the summer months.

Our Advent Bible Study remains a cherished Applewood Women tradition, inviting us
to prepare our hearts for Christmas as we reflect on the coming of our Savior, Jesus
Christ.

Together, we are becoming women who are rooted in Christ, growing in faith, and
bearing fruit for His glory. We're making room to go deeper - not
simply to know more of God's Word, but to allow more of God's Word to shape who 
we are.
